A Significant Milestone

This weekend marks Hannah belle being home for 9 months. We brought her home when she was 9 months. She has been home with us for as long as she was alive before the Lord brought us together. This blows our minds. Chris and I have talked this week of how amazing it is that we have hit this milestone and it seems like it was just August 29th! I remember at that time feeling like, "She's 9 months old! What happened during her little life in the 9 months privy to our meeting?" Feeling like we missed out on precious moments of her infancy that would have meant so much to us. Now, it hits me that we have had her that SAME amount of time and it blesses my heart. I'm thankful for families like the Davis' and Price's that loved Hannah deeply and nurtured her heart. I'm thankful for Candise and the sacrifice and love she has had for Hannah. I'm thankful Father let us have a part in this amazing story. In 9 months this child has learned to sleep on her own at night, eats better than Zeke, is smart as a whip, talks all the time, jumps, runs, and laughs. Thank you to all of you have prayed for us, supported us, and loved the four of us.

Now lets get this thing FINALIZED!!

Superhero "jernamers"

Jernamers= pajamas for all you who do not speak Zekanese.

Tonight he's Batman, tomorrow night Spider Man will be throwing webs on me.

Oh yes, that's a cape.

Jammin' on the one, Jammin' Jammin' on the one.
Thanks Ya Ya Yee for these FUN African drums.

She looks MISERABLE. I don't think she was, however this picture is trying to tell otherwise. I think she was just so chilled out she didn't know what to do with herself. I'll say this, bedtime's never gone smoother. Too bad I can't zip around the yard on the Toro before naptime every day.

Alas, 16 year olds aren't the only ones that like Justin Bieber.

This is a continuation from the last post. I'm glad someone in our family was giving Bob some love.

Thank you Chic-fil-Awesome

Obsessed much? Maybe a smidge. Atleast our boy is passionate! So, Bob and Larry were at Chic-fil-A on Pelham and Zeke, and Hannah for that matter, dressed for success. Zeke knew we were going for a surprise, but little did he know it was to see Bob and LARRY! They were both so cute and had a ball. Towards going-home-time I started to get nervous about how we were going to get Zeke out of there without a major meltdown. It just so happened that they were went home the same time we did! Thank you Jesus. Seriously.
72, roughly. What's that number you ask? Oh, its just how many times Zeke asked on the way home if "Larry was going home to go night-night because he was tired?"

Waiting for Bob and Larry to come back out of "the refrigerator", where they went to cool down

An AHA moment for my kiddos

I read this this morning and it broke me for my kiddos and I thought it was postworthy. It gave me a moment of fresh perspective and made my eyes leak:

"Today and tomorrow {and for the ever} I will let you be the light, little souls you are. I’ll capture all of your miniature gifts: seashells, stolen flowers and painted rocks. And I will let them create in me a graceful vastness that will replace the weight of my own soul."
